Quick Tip from our workshop:
Always fill the motor with clean hydraulic fluid before you start it — never run it dry. To ensure best motor life, fill with fluid and run at moderate load for 5 to 10 minutes before returning to full operating pressure.
Always ensure your case drain line is connected and returns to tank with minimal back pressure. A blocked case drain will blow the shaft seal — it's one of the most common avoidable failures we see.
